On the 8th of May, I attended my big sister's wedding. Not only as her sister, but her best friend and marriage celebrant too! It was such a privilege and an honour.
Candice and Dan declared their love in a beautiful, blissful, barefoot backyard ceremony!
Their gorgeous little cottage home in Maleny, Sunshine Coast was the perfect place for them to tie the knot. After all, ‘home really is where the heart is’.
The proceedings commenced with a Cacao Ceremony and mediation facilitated by Candice, allowing everyone to take the time to become grounded and energetically centred together.
Following, I directed everyone down to their pond, where I shared beautiful insights into their love for each other and bound them as Mr and Mrs Kennedy!
We celebrated with dancing, laughter and special moments under the cover of a Yurt hand crafted by Montville Yurts, which was decorated by White Elk Events & @nats.knots. Guests feasted on grazing platters prepared by Candice, followed by a beautifully decorated vegan cake from Maple & Sage before we all eventually went to our favourite picnic spot One Tree Hill, around the corner from our home to gaze in wonderment at a beautiful sunset.
